雷射箔因其絢爛多變的顏色、圖紋、光澤，深受使用者喜愛。此次與立揚箔業合作，透過｢雷射箔樣Holographic Foil Catalogue｣，讓大家更加暸解雷射箔的特色與運用方式。同時在這份作品中，收錄海流設計目前能掌握的燙金技巧外，也希望與大家分享迄今熱燙金海流設計能製作的最大尺寸。｢箔樣｣系列作品從2018年至今承蒙大家喜愛，真的相當感謝。海流設計從來都沒有發明新的技術，僅是帶大家重新發覺熱燙金的本質與其可能性，對這項技術重新再覺察。承繼最初的實驗精神，希望這過程得到的不只是一份樣品，更是藉此激發更多可能性，期待大家能在這份作品中對熱燙金有更多的認識並從而嘗試與挑戰未知。
Holographic foil has always been loved by people due to its luscious color, varied texture, and lusters. This time we collaborated with Lih Yang Foil Technology Co., Ltd, hoping to make more people understand the unique qualities and the methods of usage for holographic foils. In addition to all the hot foil stamping techniques Flowing Design is capable of, we hope to present the largest possible size that hot foil stamping can achieve.
We are grateful for all the love that “Foil Catalogues” has received since 2018. Allow me to restate our purpose, we were never meant to invent new technologies, but rather motivate people to re-examine the basics and rediscover the possibilities of foils. Driven by our innovative spirit, we want Holographic Foil Catalogue to not just be a sample, but to serve as an inspiration for endless possibilities and creativity. We hope everyone can learn more about hot stamping foils, push the techniques forward, and challenge the unknown.
此次作品包含了「雷射箔樣」與「實驗款作品」：「雷射箔樣」因雷射箔特性關係*，相較於其他款燙金箔，紙張較為受限，此次僅以蘋果文創的藏白紙與采憶紙品的深藍色NT元素紙共兩款紙張作為示例。
「實驗款作品」中，我們邀請了六位國內外知名圖像創作者為實驗款做最好的演繹。除單純的雷射箔創作外，此次特別加入了廣色域印刷、雕刻版打凸一般人較少接觸的技術讓大家認識。
除此之外，一直以來我們都在追求燙金精緻的極限，但於此同時也想了解燙金的最大尺寸，因此我們利用這些時間溝通、測試、而在今年也很榮幸與大家分享目前海流設計能製作的超大面積燙金作品，——圓壓圓方式製作的63.6x88.9cm 超大面積三色燙金海報。
「實驗款作品」中，我們邀請了六位國內外知名圖像創作者為實驗款做最好的演繹。除單純的雷射箔創作外，此次特別加入了廣色域印刷、雕刻版打凸一般人較少接觸的技術讓大家認識。

初心
箔樣系列作品在沈潛了一年多的時間後終於迎來最後一本，中間經歷了疫情、測試⋯⋯也接受了很多人的幫助，即便未與他們實質上的合作，但相當感謝他們不吝提供了巨大的協助，包含：鑫天力紙業、台灣真空鍍膜股份有限公司、光群鐳射科技、Kurz Taiwan⋯⋯族繁不及備載。工作之餘，每年會設計一份專案以期突破工作現況保有設計初衷，並希望從中探索新的可能性。這不僅是一份燙金的樣品，也是一份讓金箔如實呈現的實驗性作品。Flowing Design is a design studio pursuing positive social impact through the power of design. Besides commercial cases, we also launch several special projects every year. While carrying out these projects, we hope to break through the current situation that besets their development, retain the original intention of design, and seek new possibilities along the way. This is not just a sample of hot foil stamping, but an experimental project that presents genuinely the gold foil as it is.
